Hochschule trifft Industrie – Academia meets Industry
The Hochschule trifft Industrie (HTI) event takes place every two years and was founded in 1999 by Jörg Pietruszka (now University of Düsseldorf) and Joachim Podlech (now KIT, Karlsruhe). The conference had an extremely successful history ever since.
The primary goal was and is the scientific exchange of ideas between junior academic groups with a synthetic focus and companies in the field of application-oriented organic synthesis.
In 2024, the 13th edition of the event will take place from September 25th to 27th, 2024 hosted by Syngenta AG at the location in Stein (Switzerland).
The conference is organized by Patrick Isenegger (Syngenta), Olivier Loiseleur (Syngenta), Franziska Thomas (Heidelberg University), Adrián Gómez Suárez (University of Wuppertal), and Golo Storch (Technical University of Munich).

Hochschule trifft Industrie 2024 is organized by the academic partners Prof. Dr. Franziska Thomas (Heidelberg University), Dr. Adrián Gómez Suárez (University of Wuppertal), and Dr. Golo Storch (Technical University of Munich) in collaboration with Dr. Patrick Isenegger and Dr. Olivier Loiseleur from Syngenta, where the event is also hosted at the company's location in Stein (Switzerland).
